Beyoncé Mocked as Cowboy Carter Tour Tickets Hit Record Lows
Beyoncé Mocked as Cowboy Carter Tour Ticket Prices dropp to McDonald's Meal Cost.

Beyoncé is facing unexpected backlash as ticket prices for her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter Tour have hit startling lows, sparking a wave of online ridicule. This week, music fans took to social media to mock the "Single Ladies" hitmaker after reports surfaced that resale tickets for her SoFi Stadium concert in Los Angeles were available for as little as $20 — roughly the cost of a McDonald's Minecraft Movie Big Mac Meal.
The comparisons began when one X (formerly Twitter) user shared a screenshot showing ticket prices in the nosebleed section dropping to just $20. "Due to its low demand, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour tickets ($20) are now cheaper than a McDonald's Minecraft meal ($21.39)," the user quipped, fueling a flood of memes and sarcastic commentary.
Another fan pointed out that seats were once available for $27 but have since risen slightly to around $37 for the cheapest options. "The Cowboy Carter tour starts in less than a week and there are still thousands of tickets left for opening night…" one user added, highlighting the struggles Beyoncé seems to be facing in filling seats.
However, not everyone is buying into the narrative that the 43-year-old superstar is flopping. Loyal fans have rushed to her defense, reminding critics that her previous Renaissance World Tour in 2023 also started slow in ticket sales but ultimately sold out, becoming the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist in history.
"Wait until the tour starts," one fan urged. "Once those performance clips start dropping, people will be flocking to get tickets — I know it."
Others were quick to clarify that the heavily discounted tickets currently circulating are resale tickets, meaning Beyoncé likely already secured revenue from the original full-priced sales. "Where the heck are you guys getting a McDonald’s Minecraft meal for $21? At my McDonald's, it's like $14," joked another, questioning the price comparison altogether.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Beyoncé’s team for comment but has yet to receive a response.
Despite the chatter, Beyoncé is forging ahead with her Cowboy Carter Tour, set to kick off in Los Angeles at the SoFi Stadium on April 28. She will perform five shows at the venue before taking the stage in major cities including Chicago, New York, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, London, and Paris. While back-row seats might be dirt cheap, fans wanting a front-row experience should expect to spend upwards of $1,500 for premium floor seats.
Still, concerns about ticket pricing remain a point of contention among fans. Some have voiced that tickets were initially too expensive, preventing the tour from selling out faster. Sharing a snapshot allegedly showing the vast availability of seats, one critic claimed, "She can't even sell out in California… this is SoFi stadium right now. Oh, HasBeyn, your career is OVER."
Others suggested that the lukewarm interest stems from Beyoncé’s shift toward country music with her new album, Cowboy Carter. "Nobody cares about the cowgirl version of Beyoncé," declared one commenter, while another added, "This country album should've been a donation-based concert."
Despite the naysayers, Cowboy Carter has been a monumental success. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with its lead single, "Texas Hold 'Em," reaching No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Country chart — marking a major crossover achievement for the global superstar.
The Cowboy Carter Tour is Beyoncé’s first since her record-breaking Renaissance World Tour, and expectations remain high despite the early ticket sale struggles. Besides the U.S. and U.K. stops, Beyoncé will also perform three shows in France between June 19 and June 22, promising fans a global spectacle.
The tour announcement came on the heels of Beyoncé's triumphant night at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she took home Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. In a moving moment, members of the Los Angeles Fire Department presented her with the Album of the Year award. She was joined on stage by her 13-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, as she delivered an emotional acceptance speech.
"I'd like to thank and acknowledge and praise all the firefighters for keeping us safe," Beyoncé said, her voice filled with emotion. "I just feel very full and very honored. It's been many, many years. And I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work. I want to dedicate this to Ms. Martell and just keep pushing forward, opening doors. God bless. Thank you so much. Thank you."
Outside of her music career, Beyoncé has been expanding her entrepreneurial endeavors. She recently made headlines with the growth of her Cécred haircare line. In an interview with WWD, Beyoncé shared her excitement about partnering with Ulta Beauty to bring Cécred to stores nationwide.
"In the past year, we've helped so many make a deeper connection with their hair, building a community that redefines what a typical haircare brand looks like," she told the outlet. "Our historic partnership with Ulta Beauty represents a meaningful milestone in our journey of getting Cécred into the aisles and salons nationwide for everyone to experience."
As Beyoncé juggles a world tour, a flourishing beauty brand, and a legacy as one of the most influential artists of her generation, it’s clear that a few discounted tickets won’t define her career. Whether or not the Cowboy Carter Tour ultimately mirrors the financial success of Renaissance remains to be seen — but if history is any indicator, Queen Bey is far from finished.
